Not a horrible haul. Good for him. He needed a change of scenery. A good kid. Hopefully Gase didn’t ruin him completely.
He needed a change, but his current value was low after last year. It's a decent haul for a player whose value was so diminished.

I liked Sam, but it was the right thing to do. Keeping him would have divided the locker room. JD waited a bit too long, but I’m sure the medicals on Wilson needed to be analyzed. All in all, a good deal overall. He cost us 3 2’s, but we got back 3 picks and for how poorly he played (Gase’s fucking fault), that pretty good for us
