What do you think about Tennessee WR Josh Palmer in the 4th round? Will he even last that long to be drafted there?

1. AZEEZ OJULARI Georgia 1st rSO. 6022 249 4.61 (1.60) 34 1/2 - 10 1/2 - 821/2 20.87
STRENGTHS: Excellent get-off burst, bend and stride length to consistently threaten the corner…understands pass rush geometry, setting up a speed track to out-race blockers to the pocket…has the arm length of a player three inches taller…uses well-timed, physical hands and body flexibility at the top of his rush to corner and close…his edge speed forces holding penalties…senses how blockers want to attack him and uses that against them…owns a compact frame and plays with better power than expected…uses violence to shed blockers and attack ball carriers (five forced fumbles the last two seasons)…assignment sound vs. the run with reliable backfield vision…looks comfortable dropping into space and playing on his feet…described as “humble” and “laid-back” by his teammates and the Bulldogs’ coaches praise his character and attitude (only freshman captain under Kirby Smart)…led Georgia in sacks each of the last two seasons.

Not sure he's an OLB, but definitely edge that would round out a potentially devastating pass rush. Think about Williams and Rankins flanked by Lawson and Ojulari - Wow!

4-3 linebackers we need 3 correct? we have two starters. Ojulari could be that all around EDGE, Run and cover linebacker
I’ve been salivating over the prospect of Koramoah being available at 34. He seems like a great fit as a Hybrid. The guy looks like an even more dynamic Jamal Adams. He hits like a Mack Truck, and can cover wide receivers. I wouldn’t be too disappointed if they took Tevin Jenkins tho. Stick him at right guard for a year, and watch him develop into a pro bowler in a few years. I know we have other team needs, but the “ best player available “ scenario works for me.

You could do that. I have no doubt the Jets could have Ojulari work well in their system. Make him a hybrid of a Will?

Chuma is 23 and played with Vera-Tucker and JD likes him.
Clark also could have a starting role on the line.
McGovern is our center for the foreseeable future.
If they intend to draft another piece it should be with the 143rd, or 154th picks

It’s my understanding that Clark has played all three line positions, and none of us really knows for sure what the Jets have in him. He might be either a versatile backup, or our next starting center.

I think it's wise to keep McGovern at C and go guard with AVT. McGovern is still young enough, but he's more of a veteran presence than a rookie would be. He is better suited to make line calls and can help a rookie QB like Wilson.

It sounds like Clark is definitely finalizing his shift to the right. If he develops, he could be RG. I don't see the team ridding itself of Fant after getting a rookie QB, so I expect to see him at RT, with Edoga as the primary backup, maybe to take over at RT when Fant's deal is up.

The line is in much, MUCH better shape than it was when Douglas arrived. Not a job complete, but pretty far developed.

Wilson is stepping into a much better situation than Sam did.

Really? Cam Clark has been working at center? That can be quite a transition. He was I think strictly a tackle in college. Shifting to guard is itself a significant change.

I don’t know that Clark has been working at center , I just know that he did pretty well there in college when called upon. His versatility, if nothing else, could play a role in how many reserve linemen are needed.

I didn't remember him playing center at Charlotte. I knew he played a lot of tackle, and was shifting over to guard at the NFL level. Age must be taking its toll on my memory.

Still not better than Jenkins or Darrishaw. Pac 10 is soft and has been for years. Even Leatherwood would have been a better pick. We got Campbell coming back with a year of experience and an offseason workout program.

The Raiders taking Leatherwood where they did might cost Mayock his job.

I remember all of the compliments and praise thrown the Raiders way when the Gruden/Mayock team was formed. As sexy as the were, they haven't performed.
