Cornell Powell, Amari Rodgers, Anthony Schwartz are all possible targetsWhat do you think about Tennessee WR Josh Palmer in the 4th round? Will he even last that long to be drafted there?
4-3 OLB weigh from 220-245
4-3 linebackers we need 3 correct? we have two starters. Ojulari could be that all around EDGE, Run and cover linebackerTrue, but a lot of the rush comes from 4-3 DEs, not as much with the OLBs.
I’ve been salivating over the prospect of Koramoah being available at 34. He seems like a great fit as a Hybrid. The guy looks like an even more dynamic Jamal Adams. He hits like a Mack Truck, and can cover wide receivers. I wouldn’t be too disappointed if they took Tevin Jenkins tho. Stick him at right guard for a year, and watch him develop into a pro bowler in a few years. I know we have other team needs, but the “ best player available “ scenario works for me.4-3 linebackers we need 3 correct? we have two starters. yeah I think Jarrad projects as the SAMYou could do that. I have no doubt the Jets could have Ojulari work well in their system. Make him a hybrid of a Will?

Chuma is 23 and played with Vera-Tucker and JD likes him.
Clark also could have a starting role on the line.
McGovern is our center for the foreseeable future.
If they intend to draft another piece it should be with the 143rd, or 154th picks
It’s my understanding that Clark has played all three line positions, and none of us really knows for sure what the Jets have in him. He might be either a versatile backup, or our next starting center.
I don’t know that Clark has been working at center , I just know that he did pretty well there in college when called upon. His versatility, if nothing else, could play a role in how many reserve linemen are needed.Really? Cam Clark has been working at center? That can be quite a transition. He was I think strictly a tackle in college. Shifting to guard is itself a significant change.

Still not better than Jenkins or Darrishaw. Pac 10 is soft and has been for years. Even Leatherwood would have been a better pick. We got Campbell coming back with a year of experience and an offseason workout program.
I remember all of the compliments and praise thrown the Raiders way when the Gruden/Mayock team was formed. As sexy as the were, they haven't performed. The Raiders taking Leatherwood where they did might cost Mayock his job.

Exactly - one is talent evaluation, the other is building a team with pieces that fit into a cohesive unit. (Which is why I don't listen to Mel Kiper much. He lacks that perspective.)Just proof that front office experience is worth a ton more than being a "draft guru."
