Matthews from A&M(Linderbaum from Iowa)
Certainly has the lineage, I trust you on this. Would love to see our two first rounders be an Edge and an IOL like the above.Matthews from A&M

Carl Lawson comes back
and in FA Derek Barnett has links to Joe Douglas and would give us a dominating duo
along with re-signing John Franklin Myers also depth with Bryce Huff, not to mention restructuring Shaq Lawson's $9 M 2022 contract...
this team is looking brighter and brighter for the near future...
CJ Mosley proving he belongs, Quincy Williams was a sure fire hit... The rookie Linebackers will take the next step next year... Expect the team to sign one or two LBs in FA...
As for 1st round picks - at Center I like Matthews... if Cameron Clark is the guy at RG so be it has to be better than GVR... but drafting a RT in the first round seems to be a plan... I would drool if we got Evan Neal but he is a top 5 pick... Looking at the next two tackles (right):
Minnesota's Daniel Faalele 6'8" 379 ho hum late 1st rounder
Kentucky's Darian Kinnard 6'5" 342 actually fits the scheme better he trimmed down and is faster than he was last year... also considered late 1st early 2nd...
my only question to your analysis is...why take the chance on whether Cam Clark can change positions and develop into being the RG when you have enough draft capital to make the entire starting line comprised of 1st and 2nd round picks who are graded out as day 1 starters?
he could be like CJ Mosley after this year he could lose 20 pounds and because literally he is the fastest front 7 player we have he convert to linebacker in this 4-3 defense?Huff is playing himself into a status beyond just depth - kid brings the pressure.
He already converted to Right Guard this off season and was leading to start over GVR then got hurt with that spinal stinger and for precautions they put him on short term IR to allow him to heal properly... He is available to return after Falcons game which is the bye week and the way GVR has been playing and his outspoken nature they might want to bring him back asap
As for draft picks I have 4 potential RT that grade out 1-2 round
As for centers there are 5 that fit 4 that the team has scouted to this point
you have to wonder come bye week will they make a changeThere NEEDS to be an upgrade on Van Roten. I wanted to give him a chance, especially because I always like seeing local kids get to come home to the Jets. But between his mouth and his poor play, he has to go.
McGovern needs to be upgraded, too. I thought this was an excellent signing. I don't know what happened to the player the Jets signed. He has taken some major steps back, and I have not seen any injury evidence to account for it. He's also too young to be past his prime. He is a massive enigma, and I'd prefer long-term stability at C over what he has given us.
