Ever heard of Mickey Shuler or Jerome Barkum ?
he wasn't born then...$hit, i was still a kid for Shuler. And he was great!
DWC raises a good point though, and one worth focusing on. GM's and Coaches have focused on "unicorn" types of players on both sides of the ball for years...the "#1" WR- with height, weight, speed, and route running ability, the "Edge" who is a tweener that can cover and tackle and has pass rush moves, the 3-4 DE who is not big enough to be a 0, but big enough to take on multiple blockers- you get the point.
IMO, the easiest "unicorn" spot to fill is the modern TE...(a.) they have to block as much as a WR in most cases, (b.) athletes are being born massive today, and (c.) these freaks of nature can haul @$$ too...get one, and make him soak the paws in "Palmolive" like "Madge".
i can down a beer, wait for the 'seal to break', and then take a p!$$ before Griff and/or Kroft can run a TE screen.
Gotta get more athletic at this spot...been so for years.
maybe we can send Yeboah to TE College over the summer. he has the physical goods.
as to Berrios...20 million for 5 years with a 12 million sign on. He retires a Jet, and never raises questions over a reneg.
