1974Think he retired way before 1982.
Like Fitz on AZ If he had good qb's for all of his years the two of them may have been the greatest of all time. He has an extra gear that he could shift in. One of a kind in my book as is FitzI may have seen him play at Shea stadium. Great underrated player who held 2 major receiving records upon his retirement. One was broken by Charley Taylor a season or two later, the other lasted for more than a dozen years.
John Wayne Clint Eastwood, Hoot Gibson, Roy Rogers, Trigger, Autry, Tonto & the Lone Ranger,,,, Good groupMy heroes have always been Cowboys. A Texican who became a part of New York lore . Rest easy sir .
