I don’t know why exactly (or maybe I do) but I think this guy’s going to surprise people. This guy has bee a QB for so many teams and coordinators he’s got a wealth of knowledge and schemes .I agree. Making a former NFL player into an NFL HC with no Offensive Coordinator (or even QB coach) experience is absolutely, laughable.

That’s a great start to a staff right there .i dunno about that...
1.) young guys will look up to a former player who just got done playing.
2.) vets will have his back, because most of the league played with him.
3.) a lot depends on his staff; Flores as a DC...and Matt Nagy as OC, and he has instant gravitas with former HC's flanking him.
i can see it being pretty shocking!
