Thought you meant Brett Favre, Mark Sanchez, Chad Pennington, Brooks Bollinger, Vinny Testaverde, and Ray Lucas
"You kids get off my turf!!!!"There are only three quarterbacks I was sad when they retired, Sid Luckman (my dad told me how great he was), George Blanda and Joe Namath.
I don't give a flying rat's ass about those fuckers.
I didn't like any of them.
Later

good. for 1 of them at least
Poor Philip Rivers. The only one of these 6 QBs who never won a SB.
He had seasons of 14-2, 13-3, 12-4 etc with prime LaDainian Tomlinson and Antonio Gates + Vincent Jackson + some pretty good SD Ds but yet could never get the job done come postseason play (Playoffs = 5-7).
Rivers was pretty awesome (always hated his weird throwing motion) but I think SD will always regret picking Rivers over Bress.

I don't know about that man because you know me. I love stats. And that article did an awful job of providing actual indoor vs. outdoor QB statistics.
Drew Brees Inside of Dome =
89-52 overall (63%).
3,731/5,348 (69.7%).
43,212 Passing Yards.
321 TDs/121 INTs.
QB Rating of 104.6.
Drew Brees while Outside =
76-56 overall (57%).
3,024/4,629 (65.3%).
33,025 Passing Yards.
224 TDs/110 INTs.
QB Rating of 92.5.
[/SPOILER]
Sports writers always need something to write about but maybe it's his O-Linemem, WRs, TEs and Defense who couldn't play outside of a done because Drew Brees had HOF numbers both inside and outside.
Both Peyton Manning and Barry Sanders played within a dome @ Indianapolis and Detroit too, which is why I don't care too much for the inside vs. outside talk because when you're great, you're great and all you need is a Football to be so.
Barry Sanders Inside of Dome =
56-39 overall (58.9%).
9,461 rushing yards.
67 rushing TDs.
Vs.
Barry Sanders while Outside =
18-40 overall (31.0%).
5,809 rushing yards.
32 rushing TDs.
But yet I've never witnessed sports writers talking about how #20 could only win when inside of a dome ala 56-39 inside but only 18-40 outside when considering him the Greatest RB of All-Time.
And what about Randy Moss?
53-24 overall inside his dome but only 67-66 overall outside because that's 68.8% (dome) vs. 50.3% (outside).
At the end of the day I believe most Chargers fans regret keeping Philip Rivers instead of Drew Brees but who knows, I could be wrong but all I know is Drew Brees balled his tail off and put up HOF numbers while playing outside (of a dome).

Good jobBTW...you are a stat manipulator.
as a Bolt QB, he went 35-15 in outside games.
as a Saint QB, after the shoulder was put back together, his record outside was 42-41.
see the drop off?
you padded his overall numbers to minimize Rivers' stature in comparison by using his SD numbers which occurred before the injury. Post injury, he's a 50-50 Outside QB.
Good job
I don’t even bother to read into those stats
Boring
Think it was 2005-06 he was available ?I like Brees a lot!
I am no Brees hater. But he went to the right place at the right time to be what he became.
I'm manipulating stats? But you're only posting team record and not QB statistics? So who's really the stat manipulator here?
(Tell me what Drew Bress Outdoor Stats as a Saint after his Chargers Injury were...)
QB Completion Percentage = _______
Passing Yards = _________
TDs/INTs = __________
QB Rating = __________
I don't appreciate being called a stat manipulator so please fill in those 4 blanks (above) in order so you can see HOF numbers (post injury/outside of a dome) for yourself...
Think it was 2005-06 he was available ?
I wanted us to get him , but if you remember he was damaged and everyone was afraid.
I often wonder how that would have turned out?
Chad was at the end for us another year after that
A lot of guys loved him I wasn’t a big fan
Oh well
Your right though, he went to the right place at the right time
Probably would have stunk with us .
There wouldn't be a point to prove to begin with
Because Drew Brees pup up Hall of Fame individual QB Statistics (during outside games) as a Saints QB.
Anc in closing this indoor vs outdoor is such a stupid conversation for me. Because Football is Football and reading Defenses is reading Defenses
Blanda was one tuff ass QB/kicker wasn’t he?
