that is straight ridiculous and no the Seahawks are not having a fire sale they traded a disgruntled QB and shed a player that freed up $16.6 M under the cap. They are planning to go full tilt for Deshaun Watson or they will draft Matt Corral from Ole Miss they are not in a rebuild mode, Pete Carroll is trying to make one last run before his contract is up and likely retire in 2024.

Wilson Jr.’s production wasn’t overwhelmingly good, but he has shown he can handle a full workload in the event of an injury.

I am told the Jets do want to bring back Folorunso Fatukasi but also are aware of his market value of being slightly north of $10 million annual, that could of priced him out of returning to the Jets. Maybe Joe Douglas will use the hometown card being Foley is from Far Rockaway might want to stay closer to home and give him a competitive offer. Being a true Nose Tackle and a successful win rate as a run defender is a need, which begs the reason why people given up hope he would return but reality the rotational splits that Saleh and Ulbrich ran caused more miss-fires then building that continuity between the defensive linemen in 2021. Wait n see!

Can we afford this guy and Mosley and still have enough cap space to sign our own and add anything else ?
contracts are a fickle thing, and yes we have ample cap space especially that the team is expected to free up $22 M extra under the cap. Wagner probably won't command a large cap charge at this part of his career but expect it to be in the $8 M range for his experience and leadership abilities. the team could also restructure current contracts to free up cap dollars if necessary. but adding proven winners with high characters along with youth to build long term has been the plan from day one.
Saleh & Ulbrich need three linebackers on the defense
CJ Mosley, Quincy Williams & Bobby Wagner while developing young guys I am down for that
Wagner and Quincy can cover, CJ not so much but he is not a total liability in coverage just anticipates and gets flat footed often.

I'd still like a guy like Anderson or Muma as a solid if not very good option for replacing one of the older guys in a year or two.
I expect them to target Troy Andersen in the draft, think Muma's stock has risen ridiculously even though Andersen is the better of the two, just my take.
Andersen (thanks for correcting my spelling) looks like a real good prospect, and would be my choice as well.
