someone asked me why I don't like Kayvon Thibodeaux: answer is I don't see the value in him. what competition did he face to earn that top EDGE rusher status? when this past year he faced double teams instead of rising to the challenge he what made a business decision. what makes me secure that facing double teams at this level he won't quit and make a business decision.
the same answers can be asked about Jermaine Johnson, yes he had one play against Ickey but going from SEC University of Georgia because he could not crack the starting lineup, transfers to a school in another weaker conference. If Florida State did not offer a guaranteed starting job he would of went elsewhere. pre 2021 season he was rated a mid 2nd, sorry he did not out perform to go up a round and a half into the top 10. people saying he is a top 5 prospect but I don't see it.
when asked about who is better Kyle Hamilton or Lewis Cine they are different players top to bottom Cine is more of well rounded safety run and pass defender, but Hamilton is a ball hawk but far from a unicorn. Another defensive back that I question is Sauce Gardner, when I have that waning feeling I tend to avoid thinking he can succeed in New York. prefer Trent McDuffie body of work is more of a physical willing and able run defender who excels in coverage.
