Darnold had plenty of chances and time to make something happen and most of the time he didn’t. Even if he didn’t have the talent, coaching and Oline around him and he couldn’t drag them along to victories, I get that but he could have also shown that he wasn’t the problem either and he didn’t.

What’s his excuse now that he’s in Carolina? He had tons of talent, much better coaching and a oline there and he failed last year and now he’s not even named the starter this year for yet another pretty loaded Carolina team.

Listen, I don’t want to make this into a pissing contest between you and I again. I think we’re both better than that now. All I’m saying is give this kid the same opportunity you gave Darnold and show him the same love! If he doesn’t get it done by this and next year, trust me I’m giving up on Zach as well!

I've admitted Darnold sucks, but Zach has never played for Adam Gase. Top that one!!

Even though Greg the Leg can handle kickoffs but it seems the P, Braden has taken all of them in preseason? Wonder if he will do it for the regular season as well?!

Especially considering how few reps he's been getting in camp.....................................Personally I'd trade White and keep Strevler.

I'm sooooooo done watching Mike White drop back and immediately go to guy in flat.........never gives downfield routes a chance.

the selling point for me is Streveler is more mobile - that's another feature you want the backup to have to at least make a defense think twice. White gets baited into his checkdowns and isn't accurate enough to be reliable on 3rd downs. You need chunk plays in the NFL. White has to go.

Much as I've been rooting for Mike White, he must be very much 'on the bubble' for the #3 job now. He doesn't seem to have developed at all whereas Streveler has moxie, can find our receivers, and can run without getting a non-contact injury. White might not lose the game but Streveler can win it for you.
