The team will need him. When does Mike Tomlin enter a game with an unprepared team? I can't recall any such occasion. The Steelers are garbage but still managed to pull a win out of their collective ass against Cincinnati. Hopefully our coaching staff is ready as well.

THANK GOD! He may not be our guy but at least we get to see it now! He has to play for us to see what he’s about! I FULLY 1,000 PERCENT, I believe Zach is our guy but he has to prove it and stay healthy as well. Staying healthy might be his biggest hurdle.
He has weapons all over the place now and no excuses not to make it happen. Even with this shaky oline, if he can buy himself that extra 1-2 seconds to get the ball to the open playmakers, they can do the rest. He has the horses now. No excuses!!!

Im happy Zach is back.. his QB play is made to give a second or 2 for WR to get open. Problem is weak O Line and no top vet WR to help him. Zach is a moble QB on occasion but not every single pass. He isnt built for that kind of punishment. Steelers will be sending every type of blitz to get Zach confused and wound up to make big mistakes. Like I said Zach isnt a punching bag and if this happens he could become gun shy scared, we seen some last season with the same crappy front and WRs. Im hoping for a solid run game first so Zach gets a feel for the game and pass every once in awhile. We need him to grow and a shame we did zero to help him and counted on last years players and this years rookies to help him. Ill def be rooting for Zach and was my second choice at QB in draft.
IMO if wilson can't play/stay healthy or a combination of both the jets might move off him next season..
i'm basing this on reportedly this is a legit QB class & if wilson does bomb we would be in position to grab one..
obviously what we all want to see wilson play like a 2nd pick in the draft & he has the physical gifts for it.. we will see soon enough about the other stuff..

Lafleur must design plays that get the ball out quicker with a shaky LT situation. Much like what Burrow did against us. Quick reads and throws.
I’m fully on board the Wilson train, but you’re right, the season really starts now. He has to produce. It has to be better than Flacco.
Then you know what to expect
The kid is going to need a simplified game plan with quick reads. I’m praying we don’t set him up for failure

ALSO AFTER WATCHING SOME CLIPS OF ZACH AND SEEING HIM LAST YEAR SHOW HIS TRUE POTENTIAL AND TALENT IN A FEW PLAYS, I CAN SEE WHERE THEY ARE COMING FROM. I believe in Zach could be a very Good QB! Problem is this team not built right for him to get better in year 1 since he has t even played a full season. Jets should have invested everything they could for Zach to suceed and instead gave him the exact same crap as last year. How is he going to get better running for his life making high school or back yard plays? I just hope this nonsense doesnt set him backwards. I hope Zach knows after last year not to panic and throw tbe ball away if no time or WR not open. WR not looking then hit him it the back.
