What if he doesn’t ? Not sure where we go at qb if they decide Zach is not the man. I don’t want to see us back like the old days where the defense plays great and the offense punts after 3 plays and then the defense eventually gets tired or quits. Wfan was talking about if Zach fails, we need a veteran QB, we can’t draft another crap shoot next year. I’m not sure where we go. I kinda feel like Zach has to be the man somehow or we have a huge setback

I’m not as close to shutting the book on Wilson as some appear to be. I believe in growth as a young QB. Some catch fire sooner than others. I’m of the belief that you give a #2 pick at that position 2-3 full seasons to figure it out. It might be scary at times, but you don’t pull the plug prematurely.

If Zach completely falls apart by season’s end, or doesn’t show what you need to see at the end of 2023, yea you need to start going another direction. Finding a franchise QB seems like a crapshoot in the first round. But most GM’s are gonna keep gambling until they hit. Do we want to overpay for a guy like Cousins? Or you could even say Russell Wilson at this point. There’s huge risk in paying someone like that all that money and not getting a good return on it. But there’s a good chance they would explore that option because the rest of the team is pretty well set, and waiting on a QB to take 2 more years to develop wouldn’t line up for 2023/24.

Good pocket passers will stay in the pocket till the last split second and either hit their target or throw it away. The first sign of Duress and Wilson is off and running.

That’s more of an indictment on the pass protection than Wilson. Watching some of these plays where Wilson’s running from the pocket, I keep saying “Flacco would’ve been decapitated on this play”.

he's defiantly been more skittish in year two.. more skittish then even darnold was in his 2nd season..

he's breaking the pocket early & going directly into his backwards death spiral for a few seconds before heaving it out of bounds..

try & count in your minds eye how many times wilson steps up in the pocket & fires a dart?!

I wouldn’t have to count very high, but after last seasons beating and really this seasons also it is very hard for Zach to not expect to get pummeled as he regularly runs for his life. These young kids need some actual safe time in the pocket to be able to expect that they will have it again. Blindside hits stay with you. That’s what i think anyway. If every time I open the fridge and grab a beer, I get drilled into the ground by a 280 pound lineman, I start to look over my shoulder when I’m grabbing a beer and maybe I come out of the fridge empty handed sometimes. That would suck

Can you imagine if Breece Hall was still running 50 yard dashes down the sideline to the endzone? He’d be in that conversation, too.

their is a specific list of rookies each week to vote on..

but yeah, if we get one on the list jet fans will vote..

i did see a photo of the kid's posing with their (multiple) belts & they were having fun with it.. win, win..

besides, we are not talking about 6 out of 9 without these kids..

Stars emerging all over. Quinnen Williams AFC Defensive player of the month. His stats are comparable to Aaron Donald. 6 sacks, leads all DT’s in pressure rate, and sack rate. Some fans wanted to trade him last year. Yes, you know who you are.

Garrett Wilson, Breece Hall, Sauce Gardner, AVT. Yeah this team is being built the right way. If ZW progresses in the right direction, the sky’s the limit.

I thought he was maybe the team's MVP last year. I thought he won the Cincy game for us.
