From all media accounts, Zach seems like an ok guy. Perhaps his career could end during the pre-season if it is unspectacular?
Money won't be a problem for him, already earned some millions. Oh, his uncle owns Jet Blue, he can I'm sure, get a spot there.

I don’t get the personal attacks on this kid. Yeah he shit the bed as a starter, a situation neither he and the then OC were ready for. We’ve fixed the QB position and ZW is in a spot he should have been three years ago. I say let it play out and if he looks as though he hasn’t improved this preseason, then perhaps cut bait.
Next season there's no negative cap hit and A-aron is the qb. So in all likelihood, he's gone next season. I think the Jets are done with trying to develop him. After this season the options are, develop Wilson who busted or draft and try to develop another qb. I think you end up going with the latter. I'm not sure Wilson would want to be here either. If there were to be an extension, it will be for veteran's minimum. I don't think Wilson would find that agreeable unless he had a legitimate chance to compete for the starting job.
