Just looked at his stats last season. Unless he's having a stellar camp, I don't understand why you would think it's far fetched for hall to be on the bubble. Last season, he was on the inactive roster 11 games, played 15 snaps on defense and 58 snaps on special teams. He recorded zero tackles, was thrown at twice giving up a 25 yard TD pass.

So from some takes this is our Offensive Line for this year:

Left Tackle Duane Brown
Left Guard Joe Tippman
Center Connor McGovern
Right Guard AVT
Right Tackle Mekhi Becton

Not sold on this unit staying healthy but we do have a couple of backups that are serviceable. Wondering how long Brown can stay the starter and will Max Mitchell crack back into the starting line at left tackle where they see him moving forward.

some are projecting the Jets carry 5 safeties to keep Dean on the roster, which seems like the current conversation as we had 5 last two years as well.

Personally we need to have 4 active on the roster with one reservist and if they feel they can not sneak a player onto the practice squad they have to consider keeping him on the active 53.

By week 8 I think trade dead line still?

Whitehead then could be a trade option as long as Dean proves he can step up.

still uncertain on the RB room. I do feel they want to keep 5 that does not mean they keep a fullback since two of our tight ends can double down as fullback which would have all three tight ends on the field for various matchups that Hackett likes to deploy. CJ Uzomah would be first chair at FB with Ruckert eventually getting snaps there.

Nick Bawden was decent but he has been a hot seat warmer stealing a potential roster spot for a player we needed to keep, think this year his time ran out and will be cut.

the extent of rookie Izzy's injury to me is uncertain I know they do not want to place on him on IR right now would officially end his season, so keeping him until after week one gameday then place him on short term IR could be the plan.

Keeping four mandatory so if Izzy's injury is that bad that he will need more than three weeks they will keep Bam Knight as the 5th potentially the 4th until the rookie comes back. Knight can double down as a kick returner until then.

the other question who is the 5th and 6th receiver.

the debate around is between Malik Taylor, Xavier Gipson and Jason Brownlee.

of the three Brownlee received $216K guaranteed money when signed as a rookie free agent.

did Brownlee prove he is that guy, last year they did the same thing with Tony Adams and well he turned out to be the front runner to start this year.

I suspect Brownlee is listed as 5th.

Now the 6th is a toss up. Gipson showed up in the final preseason game, but Taylor also did just enough to be that player, who do you think of these two makes the roster? and does the other pass through waivers to be added to the practice squad.
