Does the Zach change start now???

Is this the change of the Zach Wilson era? I’m sure that we all hope so! This past game against the Chiefs he showed something we’ve never seen from him in the NFL. He played with command, control and conviction. He did that for the entire game pretty much. I’d say at least 75% of it. Yes he had the costly fumble but you can see in that play that he glanced away from the ball for a split second to look down the field to decide where he wanted to go!

That was his fault for fumbling the ball but I can’t be mad at him for being ready to make the play. Where we go from here with Zach only God knows but we’re all hoping for the best and we’ll see! I personally see improvement in him this season, even in the past two games he didn’t play well. What I saw was that he didn’t play as horribly as he did last year. I’ve noticed that he’s taking accountability for all his mistakes and he seems genuine about it!

So does this mean he’s on his way to being at least a serviceable QB in this league? Maybe even better than that with the way he played this past Sunday night? I mean he did go toe to toe with the best QB in the league and he outplayed him. ATLEAST for that game he did! This game here means everything for Zach Wilson. They are playing against an inferior Broncos team that they should beat. If he can do that convincingly, he just might be on his way!

Man I thought we agreed to wait for a few weeks before jumping to conclusions :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

One game means NOTHING. Lets see what the next few games bring.

Kudos to Zach for playing a good game, and Kudos to Hackett for calling a good game (still need to commit more to the run)

Think your jumping the shark here. Mahomes had his worst game vs Zach's best and still got the win.
Zach has a long way to go before he is even an avg NFL QB.
He played well in spurts but did fumble away the last possession and any chance to win. No excuses for that...

You are correct but at least he didn’t have the deer in the headlights look in his face. Or the body language didn’t indicate that he was totally lost in the sauce. He was trying to make shit happen and just didn’t focus on the ball first. I can respect that!

He played with command for most of the game I agree, but he only produced for 1 quarter and 1 drive in the 3rd. Other than that he produced zero points. I can tell you 38 throws for Zach will not win many games. Breece needs 20 touches. He is fine.

They definitely need to incorporate the running game ALOT more. AT LEAST 15-20 touches for Breece, 7-10 for Cook and 5-7 for M. Carter. I guess being that they went down by 17 early to that high powered monster known as the Chiefs, they felt they had no choice. This week they should be able to manage that. Broncos doesn’t seem to be a team that puts points on the board quickly.

Jets need to learn from the Giants. If Zach shows anything more this season, DO NOT PAY HIM!! Trade him!!

So if Zach starts to demonstrate the qualities JD thought when drafting him, we should trade him. Makes total sense to me.
Look at where the Giants are. Stuck with an awful QB because they believed he had improved. Unless he looks like Mahomes which Mahomes looked like Zach last game.

I don't think we will be able to resign Zach. Rodgers is coming back for next season and unless no one else comes calling, I'm not sure if Zach will accept backup money.

I just want Zach to either ball out and we win 13 in a row or get other teams excited and get a nice pick or two for him. Go with Rodgers next year with Siemian as back up next year. Draft a late round QB.

It's one game that he played decent. Not well enough to win, but decent enough to have a game losing fumble. At best it was small progress. Pump the brakes fans.

We’re keeping it all in perspective here TCT! Zach has given us three years of horrible play pretty much. He showed slight signs here and there of potential but nothing really to hold onto. Not that I can remember anyway. This here would be the game where he left us saying DAMN, maybe the kid can play this game.

Now that I’m thinking of it, there was a game his rookie year against the Titans, where I thought he was pretty impressive. Overall, Zach hasn’t given us anything positive really to hold onto. So I don’t believe any of our opinions on the kid has changed. This very Sunday he can go right back to what most of us think, straight trash!

Personally, he’s going to have to show me he can do this another 3-4 straight games before I start to believe. Maybe even 5-6 games. I’m just saying that I have noticed a difference this year and that Chiefs game was pretty damn impressive. Even in a lose, it was and I’m just giving credit where credit is do!

I definitely have given him credit for not useless like usual, but I need to 4 quarters of good play and then 13 games. I hope he can build off it.
