As bad of a year as JD has had, just imagine trading a huge amount and getting the #1 pick and then picking the wrong QB. At least JD only screwed the Jets for 2 years.
Jets win big this week
Given the Jets offensive front 5, the amount of physical punishment Mr. Zachery Wilson can take may be a factor. His line resembles the turnstiles in the 42nd street station of the New York subway during rush hour. [Ed.: And that's when the opponents use a 4 man rush. A 6 man blitz is, well, you know . . . ]

What a sorry 2020 QB draft class, or whatever draft class Zach, Justin, Matt and Trey came out. Only QB worth anything is Trevor and the Jets fucked that all up winning for that asshole Gase! I personally think if Justin was on a better team he would be lights out but what do I know. Some people just have and others don’t and maybe Justin just doesn’t.
The one thing I will say is NE isn’t scared to pull the trigger. I’m looking at this NE vs. Indy, London game and they’re pulled Matt off the field for Zappe. I guess it is possible to bench a high drafted first round QB for someone else. WHO KNEW!!!
Side note: Zappe just threw a dumbass interception right before the end of the game! Maybe that wasn’t the right move, Lol. I’m SO FREAKING HAPPY TO SEE THE PATRIOTS FALL FLAT ON THEIR FUCKING FACES!

What's doubly funny for Jets fans with a longer memory is to see the fake spike come to grief.
Well it apparently needs to happen this year also! I initially was in the train that Zach may have learned from Hackett and A-Rod, so give the kid this entire year and let’s see what he can do. Well he apparently hasn’t learned enough and needs to be benched. Who they have behind him won’t be much better or better at all really but whatever at this point. The change might inspire a few Jets players and who knows. It at the least will be something else to talk about!
I’m watching the Commanders vs. Seahawks and Sam Howell is a damn good QB. I would give damn near anything to have him on our squad. Commanders seem like they have themselves a keeper!
I don’t see how we will ever have a chance to score anything but field goals ever again. And that implies that we get a turn over in field goal range. Hard to score with only one receiver that can catch and the only other weapon is an RB who will be keyed in on every play. Add in if we actually have a positive play, that person will fumble

DeVito has an excuse. Zach was coddled, fussed over, given multiple chances, the antithesis of Einstein's feeling of repetition without changing strategies.
I think you would have given damn near anything for Justin Fields too. Clearly all us Jet fans are desperate for any competent QB. Zach has been by far the worst QB we have had and that list is pretty long. None of us get to make the decisions so we can either care or not care which I have chosen to not care. We are looking at a rebuild 5 years into this current rebuild. Any talent we have accumulated in the last 5 years will be gone by the start of the next rebuild.
