Carter did not complain, they cut him bc they plan to re-sign Cook to keep as tandem with Hall.
Problem is they drafted Izzy. They needed to add another OLM to the roster so they first cut Smart to add Deculus now they cut Carter to add someone else. This is becoming a shit show like we are used too.

Funny thing. The Jets were trying to trade Cook, but teams were more interested in trading for Carter. JD refused, then goes and releases him. Smart move by our GM.
Raiders game, the chop block penalty that Mike Carter which the league vindicated that it was a bad call, caused Saleh and the Jets to bench Carter for that flag because it did not help Zach Wilson succeed is the reason why Carter was cut.

If the guy contributed in any meaningful way I would care. He has not. Rather see Izzy.
Won't replace Wilson as need him like it or not. But really hope Carter can get another shot with another team. Maybe Izzy will get the chance.
We need him like a whole in the head, but I agree we need him to tank.
Very tough to gauge any player with this coaching staff. Guys produce, then never see the field, then you have absolutely historically putrid players like Zach who never see the damn bench!
Cook was explosive last game every snap he got, yet only got 3 touches and I don't think he even saw the field in the 2nd half! You would think they would ride the hot hand! Just mind boggling the absolutely dumb ass decisions this team seems to make on a week to week basis (almost like they are intentionally sabotaging things)
Sounds like a chemistry issue with both guys.
As I've said before, maybe Sean Payton just saw the obvious.
