Quick question. It seems we are gonna be stuck with Zach on the roster cause no one will trade for him So the question is instead of taking up a valuable roster spot ,can we place him on the practice squad? If so, if he gets poached off the practice squad by another team, how much of his salary does the poaching team have to assume. Just curious how that works.

no we can not waive him to the practice squad we would eat his guaranteed money, then a team will be able to pickup him up for his base salary for next season with the 5th year team option in play. his base salary is $1,055,000 (cap hit $11,184,307 'same for dead cap') his suggested 5th $22,408,000

The coaching staff and Joe Douglas want to get rid of ZW but Woody Johnson is not sold to get rid of him and become the joke of the community. Woody & Chris think ZW has that 'IT' factor.
