It could very well happen, depending on how the board breaks.
Engstrand was TE coach and passing Game coordinator for a while in Detroit then just passing game coordinator but they were very TE heavy so it's likely the jets will try to mimic that
A lot of this depends on which holes are filled or created by free agency. If they don't re-sign Moses or a credible alternative, RT becomes essential. If they let Conklin go then Ruckert isn't really a credible alternative. If they sign Fields then QB isn't a priority. If they bring back Lazard then the WR room doesn't look so bare. If they let Sherwood go, will Mosley have to take up his sick bed and walk? Looks like the competition for Reed will be too rich, can Stiggers step up after his 'rookie' season?

A draft like this is hard to predict because of it's mediocrity. Some of the Mocks I've seen are ridiculous in terms of where players are being picked.
I believe the Jets will draft BPA in the 1st.
Someone is going to fall. Carter? Ward? Sanders? They always do. Just don't draft Shedur. Please.
Graham will most likely be gone.
Who they draft if Graham is gone will be dictated by FA.
I would go both sides of the line early and often in this draft.
There's a lot of Day 2 talent in this draft as well.
Nothing flashy, but some good depth in those round. TE RB.
