The guy who started the original Jets chant

So we sat in portable bleachers ( Mets home plate )in Shea for 10 years before the moves.

Top level to our right .
Original Jets chant was
“Let’s go Jets “ of course .
When the colts came to town in our division, there was a group of colt fans up there .
They would do a C-O-L-T -S chant with one fan shaping g his body for each letter . And then the colts colts colts

The opposite open end of the stadium ( Shea outfield bleachers started the response with the Jets chant .
So that’s how it really stared
Don’t know if that guy was in that group or not

Sat in the Lodge at Shea with my uncle and Dad.
Section 325 in the Upper Tier at the Swamp.
I vaguely remember going to Titans games with My Dad, Uncle, and Cousin. I couldn't tell ya the section or row because it escapes me but I've been watching and going to games since the teams inception.
At the Meadowlands Section 325 was next to the visitor's Fan section. We used to have some fun with those Fans. I was never escorted out but I was close many times.
The guy who started the original Jets chant was seated in that section. I never knew if it was true but He always wore an old school Jersey with the #1 and DIEHARD on the name plate.
My last Season was 2008. Dad and my Uncle were gone and I could see the writing on the wall with PSL bullspit so I let them go. Couldn't afford it on top of everything else.
Blew the money on Directv Sunday Ticket.
This Season I let that go and Im finding I miss it less and less.
Sorry but I've invested too much time and money into this team to give up on them.
I watch them but I expect nothing from them.
Just don't embarrass yourselves on National TV and Im happy.

He led the J-E-T-S Jets chant at the swamp.
I remember the "dueling sections " chants at Shea.
Of course the Colts Fans would run their mouths.
They though they were King Shit.
We used to mess with them, tell them shit like you're Guaranteed Losers.
One of the reasons I hated the Dolphins was because Shula was their Coach.
I never disliked a HC as much as I did that man.
Just had a smug look on his face.....made Me want to knock it off .
Ahhh the Old Days.
