I'm keeping my eye in Joe Fagnano - the QB of UCONN. He's been putting up some pretty impressive numbers.

I thought I was the only one.
The Kid has the "it factor" too I'm told.
He has been through some adversity in his young career as well.
Toughened him up for life in the NFL.
I like this Kid.
Let's see how it plays out.

I don't understand college eligibility these days, I thought you had three years but now there are guys having careers as long as Rodgers in the NCAA.

I normally would agree with you 1,000 percent on this kind of post but I gotta disagree on this one. What choice would the Jets have at that point? They will most likely win 2-3 more games this year and if they finish in second place, it will be clear that a QB is the highest priority need.

How could they not draft a QB at that point? Especially if it’s one that appears to have the right stuff. So far Mendoza seems to be the real deal! If that’s truly the case or any other QB that has the goods, and the Jets have a chance to draft him, you can’t pass up that opportunity!

They will beat the Browns, Saints, and Ravens. All ready beat the Bengals dropping us to the fifth pick . Bengals and Ravens will trade back and we will be looking at the 5 th best QB. Could be a good thing. (Mahomes, Allen, Jackson) All overlooked and were only hope available. Of course we could also trade up for the wrong QB.

The Giant's model from last year's draft might be worth considering instead of the shiny #1 rated college QB. Maybe a WR or DL/Edge in first then A QB worth developing next.

It's going to take a lot more than 1 draft to fix this mess.
Hopefully they use the draft to build  This time instead of going for the quick fix.
