It's frustrating isn't it? My wife diagnosed my frustration with the teams progress this season quickly. We end every season anymore uncertain of what the team will look like at the start of next season and what will the coaching staff look like because every season the changes are vast. I can't wait for the free agency period to be over so I can see what happened there. Then I want the draft to be over so I can see what those picks are. It's a never ending process. My wife reminded me of how long I've been doing this.
I’ve been watching football since around 1953 and was fortunate enough to be home on leave from the US Navy, I came home for hunting season, of course, when the Jets played their first ever official game at the Polo Grounds in September of 1960. I was there and had the pleasure of watching them kick the living shit out of Buffalo. I don’t remember the exact score, but the Jets won by a huge margin. I’ve been a fan ever since. Obviously, I have a lot of patience but it’s starting to wear thin and it’s difficult to remain hopeful and optimistic. I do hope they turn it around soon because I am not getting any younger.
That's a sad story. Must be tough for you when you go to the VA for ptsd treatment & you explain to them it is not from the service but from the Jets.

Honestly I’m having a hard time with it. Inside my head I’m still a dumbass kid but physically I’m beat. I’ve been spending a lot of time doing yoga trying to get some flexibility back. I never had much to begin withDamn. I wish I was going to be sixty soon.........................

It could be a lot worse as we all know but yea the Jets really did fuck up my psyche in my 20-30-40 started to wane and now it’s gone . I really don’t care anymore but I’ll watch . And now I’m to the point when( blahahahhahahh ,) if they ever win I won’t even care anymore.
On top of that I hate this coaching staff in case no one knows
i watched one of the interviews with the new giants coach. you can see why he does well
you & CH could have been wrestlers for those injuries.........you have the name......we need to get one for CH. i know guys with office jobs with injuries like the two of you.....when you meet their wives you know why.
on a serious note. i can feel for CH & younger fans. but that one SB will always be with me. would not trade that in.......now my other team....well just like you guys but worse
