Reese is probably the pick if we stay at 2, but the key at 16 is whether Mooge can trade for a legitimate #2 WR like Thomas or Wilson. If not then Lemon, kid from ASU, or Cooper at 16. 33 and 44 will be interesting with needs at IOL, LB, QB, and S. I’d rather we wait until 3rd (with trade) or 4th for a QB like Allar, Nussmeier or SD State kid.

I would pass on Tyson. Too many injuries and he seemed reluctant to block last year. I'm guessing he's afraid of getting injured as the cause of his decline in blocking.
I wouldn't hate Love if we know Breece is gone. I don't think Breece is that good anymore. Definitely not a game changer. I think they go with Reese. I don't think they will take Simpson at #2, but wouldn't be surprised at #16. I think someone else takes him before our #33 pick which is where I could see the Jets thinking about getting Simpson.
I would hate it if they draft Simpson anywhere higher than the third round, and we all know they don’t have a third round pick. No, he won’t last that long but let someone else take a chance on a unproven smaller size QB. Of course he’ll turn out to be an all world, Hall of Famer because the Jets didn’t draft them, but it is what it is.
That would be perfect. Paying Breece would be a mistake. I know the Jets won't draft a RB at #2, but I wouldn't hate it.
I’d be on board with this also. Im warming up to Love at 2 and dumping Breece for picks. #16 has got to be a receiver option ( I like Saddiq) . What Im confused about is this talk of Bailey at 2. Bailey and WMD wont work together (weak against the run) so you cant play them both at the same time. Unless they have some plan to trade WMD that we dont know of…..Bailey makes no sense
You are absolutely right that Bailey makes no sense. He is ONE DIMENSIONAL. He wins with great get off speed. That will not be as easy for him at the NFL level. If he gets beat at that point he is barely average for the rest of that play. Most of the better draft annalist still have Reese as the Jets pick and that's because he is far more versatile and doesn't have to be schemed for. They can use him damn near any way they want and he will succeed.
