A draft watch? My watch
AJ Brown mist likely to the Pats

Does it really matter what we do ?
This year or next ?

By the way I’ll probably be broke by June for the cup
Fun times
Bigmoe I have been praying we don't waste a pick. I hope we draft the pretzel 🥨 guy with a cart. I hear he is still available & he has the cart greased & ready to go...come on jets do it right.

Klubnic.
Not the guy I was hoping for, and it's a little early for the pick but this guy is built for the offense they want to run.
If RPO is the way they want go Klubnic fits.

I agree that Sadiq is a top prospect. Did they really need to draft a TE in the first?
NO.
CB S WR LB. Those needed to be addressed in the first 2 rd with no 3rd rder.
There were better options at NEED positions at that point of the draft.
Sadiq was not a need. WR should have been the pick or a CB.
It's all moot anyway. If the draft keeps going this way Glenn AND Mougey will be gone and this time next year We will be starting from scratch, again.
Isn't it at least refreshing to go BPA and still fill the needs of the team? It's clear Sadiq was the best player on the board, and while WR was more a need than TE, this team needs pass-catching weapons.

I hear you Jet-Bro. I do. Sadiq  may have been the best player on the board in your opinion but not in mine. BPA is fine with me. Hell you can argue that there were guys available at 16 that were rated higher at need positions than Sadiq was rated.
There were still better options available at WR than Mr Indiana later in the 1st. Boston, Conception.
We will see.
Hopefully it works out.

I would not have been opposed to Boston. He's a different type of WR than Cooper. And honestly, in my eyes, Cooper's better. Sadiq provides a lot of the size Boston does, but faster and better. Cooper is a better complement to both GW and Sadiq.

Yeah its a matter of personal opinion I get that.
For me the D was 1st priority. Secondary especially.
The problem I had was really with trading up for Cooper. Unnecessary imo.
I like the player and felt He would have been there at 33 if that was their choice.
The fact that they had 0 int's and a pathetic sack total emphasized their need on D.
Like I said its all a matter of opinion.
We just have to trust that Aaron Glenn and Mougey know what they are doing.
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Well, as soon as the Jets drafted him, the Bills dealt out of 31. They had traded back to 31. The Bills had first eyed Concepcion, and the Browns landed him. Then the Bills traded back with the Pats to go from 28 to 31. As soon as the Jets took Cooper at 30, the Bills traded 31 to move out of the first round.

So, no, he would not have been there at 33. Plus, even if all that wasn't the case, drafting him 30th instead of 33rd gives the team a fifth-year option, so it was worth it for that reason.

You're probably right about that but I didn't think it was worth sacrificing a 2nd for the player. You obviously hold him in higher regard than I do.
Even after taking Sadiq I would have been very happy to come away with Boston and any combo of LB/CB/S that were available.
I just think that would make a stronger foundation to build a well rounded roster going into OTA's and TC.
Love what Mougey has done today.
I read a nice article on Klubnic and I would post the link but my cell phone skills suck.

It wasn't sacrificing a second. It was sacrificing 179 overall to move from 33 to 30.

Okay.
So your okay with drafting 3 blue chip prospects instead of 4?
We will never know and it doesn't really matter at all but if the Jets keep 44 and draft Boston at #33 and CJ at 44 how is that not the better option?
See?
Never fails.
2 people looking at the same thing always see it differently. One is not necessarily better than the other. Just a different perspective is all.

I don't understand this. How did picking a guy at 30 instead of 33 impact their fourth pick?

Seriously, I'm not getting the math in this argument.

This kid Klubiak the Jets just drafted, he was once a five star high school recruit and at some point in college, he was predicted to be a number one draft pick. Plus a four year starter at Clemson. That’s pretty impressive! I don’t know where it all fell apart, but we’ll see where it goes as far as the pros are concerned. He might surprise us all with the correct training in time or he might be on a different team in two years as a back up someplace else. He’s not the QB I wanted the Jets to draft but he’s ours now. For now anyway!

Bad OL and a case of the dropsies last year really hurt his draft stock.

Thanks! I didn’t keep up with Clemson or this kid and had no idea who he really was. So this helps a bit. They say he has a gun and he’s pretty accurate. So who knows?

Question, when you say dropsies do you mean his playmakers dropping his passes or him fumbling the ball?

That is exactly what all the annalist have been saying. His "O" line was a clone of one of the Jet's recent "O" lines. To his credit though I heard him when he was asked why things went off the rails refuse to throw his team mates under the bus.

WRs dropping passes. That hurt his completion percentage.
