A few points:
*I agree with Hobson that I am skeptical of the guys who are not great route runners, because the NFL is full of great athletes and it seems the best technicians (Rice, Carter, Boldin, Largent, etc) are the ones who become the best players. Conversely, the guys who are just amazing athletes but sloppy tent to flame out. Anyone remember Reggie Williams coming out of Udub?
*If Perriman jumps up the board and some team can't resist his potential, it just pushes another option down to us at 37.
*Jalen Strong is a fantastic football player. As mentioned above, he may have the strongest hands in the draft. He did run a sub 4.5 at 6'2 210 so he's not exactly slow for his size. Would be a nice pick up if he's sitting there at 37. The other thought is he does well a lot of what Marshall and Decker already do, so that should be considered as well.
*Give credit to Superman55 and Mel Kiper both on Breshad Perriman. Months ago 55 was touting him on this board and about the same time Kiper had him going
#15 in his first mock. Both guys were on top of this kid's potential before most anyone else.
*lastly, I agree above that the best play is going defense (OLB) with our first pick and then picking up the offensive talent in subsequent rounds. The draft will go 3-4 rounds deep with top WR's, impact RB's, and a developmental QB. What order those guys get picked, I'm not sure. But I would expect those are the 3 main targets, along with maybe OT.
