I'm waiting for Geno to come out and be a leader and give his side of the situation. IMO, it needs to be quick and should say something like I owed the money and as the QB of the Jets I should have handled it differently. Anything other than that then I'm ready to move on from him. Unless his mouth is wired shut. He could at least put out a statement if he would like to avoid questions for now.

Actually I'd rather have one of the smartest players in the NFL, who in spite of his limited physical skills is in his 11th year in the NFL over a guy who may or may not finish his rookie contract in the NFL

I trust the guy that may have less physical skills, but better football and LIFE IQ as Geno has proved. I wanted to see what Geno had, but I believe Petty could be better than Geno or any QB we have had in many years. Fitz has no arm strength, but he does have the ability to be a game manager if Chan reigns him in.

True and they are getting cut in 6 weeks. Bring in whatever stiff you want i don't care. Fitz goes down so does our season anyway.

I will try but the mere fact this dude is 33 or so and played for 5 or 6 teams and got booted from them all. Says alot about him. Like I said I will try!
