actually I heard sometimes it seems their is more jets fans at miami home games then miami fans
eh, Phins fans are harmless. They know where they stand. They're in the same position we were last year. If anyone would have started something with me last season, knowing our situation, i'd tell'em.... "GO 'F' ya self and buy me a drink"- in a cordial and polite way of course.
I lived in Ft. Lauderdale in the 80's and there are tons of transplanted NYers (Jets fans), but you have to know where they congregate on gameday. If you just walk into any random bar you will probably encounter mostly Dolphins fans. I knew the places where my Jets brethren hung-out, so I wasn't just going in blind.
In fact I worked at a real hot restaurant at the time that a lot of Miami Dolphins players frequented, and I used to bust their chops all the time, but players are mostly cool about it, its the fans who take it personal.
