I would feel a lot better about this game if Revis and Marcus Williams weren't both likely to sit this one out.

That means this game entirely falls on the pass rush.

If the D-line and OLB's don't take advantage of a banged-up Giants O-line and put consistent heat on Eli, Beckham will torch us and Eli will pick us apart. He's a below average QB prone to mistakes if you pressure him, but he'll pick you apart if you don't, especially with a depleted secondary. This game is on the Jets pass rushers.

This is being a point that all the media, Gant fans, and spots reporters are making. It's not a hidden fact.
Oh my , who will cover OBJ.,the Jets have no one. Yet, and this is quite a major yet, Vegas has the Jets favored by 2 and yes it's a Gint home game.
Very interesting.

I actually get to watch this game live...well on TV live. No kids games this weekend!

If the D-line can get to Elisha, we'll win....I don't want to get into a shootout with our secondary banged up. Cro, if you have anything left, show it tomorrow!

The win is now guaranteed

Dick Semen picked his Midgets to win by seven

As he did with his Dolphins the prior game.

There has to be a way the Jets can advise ESPN that they are revoking this cockroach's media credentials and access

I hope we throw to Devin Smith early and make a few plays. Marshall and Decker will be the focus for the Giants but if Devin Smith burns them they won't know who to focus on. Going ahead early will surely make Eli hear footsteps.

I agree with posts concerning Devin Smith. If he has a great game it will finally open the offense up. The offense opened up last week but now we need to legitimize it.

I think the key to this game is getting to Eli early. Once Eli hears footsteps Beckham will not matter. I think we win this game because of our Defense will be up for the game and the Giants will have to pass to win. Our DBs will pick off a few passes and that's the difference IMO. Pryor needs to hit Beckham once and set the tone for the game. Go Jets, I can't wait.
Exactly, the best way to nullify Eli to Beckham is to put Eli in a prone position - twitching.
I hope it happens early and often.

If Eli feels pressure he tends to be inaccurate. Get to him early and the game is ours. I think the game hinges on early play and how our Defense pressures Eli. Our Offense will do its thing. Later.

Enormous post and point!

I feel last week opened the door for Devin. The kid has every thing you want in a play maker. Some kids come in from college and light the league on fire. Some rooks just need time and the right coaching to guide them in the right direction to light a fire under them, as Coach did two weeks ago after the Houston match up.

I feel if Smith has a coming out party today, this season will be a very very Magical one that no one in September ever even dreamed of.

This is where i'am enjoying what i've seen of Coach Bowles. Like the people he played under, the coaches he learned from and where he is most knowledgable is holding players accountable.

One thing for sure at the start of the season, the position of strength at depth was Cornerback. With D.Revis & M.Williams out, i fully expect Dee Milliner to be chomping at the bit to showcase why he was drafted 9th over all in 2009. I'am sure he's felt every negative sound there is to deter him from feeling confident. From seeing his playing time diminish. To being labeled Injury prone. To even hearing that he will be cut after the season.

This is his time. If there was ever a point at a cross roads, why not vs one of the best WR's in the game? This is where he needs to seize his opportunity. Dee and Dexter McDougal will have a great chance today to showcase that this defense can continue to not skip a beat, even if their best DB is out for the game.

I'am probably alone here, but i still have confidence in Dee Milliner.

Hate to say it Jets faithful but Beckham Jr. is going to crush Cromartie. Probably would have done the same to Revis. Revis doesnt do well against small and faster style WRs, he's plays better against bigger and more physical WRs. Plus it looks like he's lost a step anyway. Cro is just garbage period and has been all year pretty much. Our best chance to cover Beckham Jr. would probably be Williams but he's doubtful for today. If Milliner could ever get back on the field that would help greatly but if he breaks a finger nail, he's done for weeks. With Beckham Jr. getting his big-time today, hopefully won't mean much for the Giants as far as a win but as deadly as he is, I'm very nervous about it.

I don't think Beckham will be covered exclusively by Cromartie. I also think they play a lot of Zone today
