Trade out of the # 6 spot to get # 12 & 33 .......then take TE - OJ Howard at 12 and then at # 33 take S- Obi Melifonwu and at their own #39 take CB- Chidobe Awuzie ... three new possible starters then lets see what round 3 brings.... I would like to see us take WR- Cooper Kupp at # 70 and OT- Julie'n Davenport at 107 in Round 3.
Then Trade Sheldon Richardson to the Bears for #37 (2nd) and #67 (3rd) take OT Ryan Ramczyk with #37 and RB Joe Mixon if he is there at # 67

Loving this!!! As long as Fournette isn't available at #6, then this is a perfect plan. Monkey wrench question in your plan, are you sure Howard will be there at #12? So much buzz over this kid the past week or two that he may be gone before #12. May have to take him at #6, if Fournette is gone before then.

One of the guys I REALLY WANT the jets to take is C Pat Eiflin, OSU. Not only is he an OSU guy but he also is drawing comparisons all around to mangold. Guy is said to be the best C in the draft and a future stape at C. 3rd round projection..id love this guy with our third round pick.

As for tonight's draft, and in general, as much as I want it I know the jets aren't swinging any trades simply because mac isn't a wheeler and dealer and we leaked out how much we love trubisky so the browns would be trading up with the titans certainly NOT the jets.

Throwing 2 dark horse names out there at 6 who I would be SHOCKED if we took, but I see a very slight possibility (since not even 1 analyst mock had us taking lee last year). Those two names to watch out for in the back of your mind are John Ross and Christian McCaffrey.

I agree. Jets suck drafting OSU linebackers, but do good with OL
