Not sure about this new allegation but to me the lady from the first assault case is trying to get a bang for her buck. This is perfect timing for her, she's hoping that Winston wants to rid of this story and settles quickly. Going into the draft with an assault trial hanging over his head would be very bad for him so settling may be in his best interest despite him being innocent.
Not saying he's innocent or guilty, just viewing it from a diff perspective.
I think you could be right...but with his arrogance, actions and behaviors...its hard to believe these types of allegations, true or not, will ever stop following him.
Again, he has a ton of maturity issues, the type that remind me of the issues Vince Young had, where he just smelled himself too much. Im not talking football playing talent at all. I do think the kid needs a role model and mentor if he has any chance of being in the league beyond his rookie deal. I would say the same thing about Maziel, but Winston has way more talent. He just needs help the way Big Ben did.
I also think his arrogance, more than his ankle, is the reason for the 18 INTs last year. Lack of preparation and a feeling on invincibility led to his 18 INts, IMO, because even banged up, your head threw those picks, not your ankle. He made too many bad decisions...blaming bad decisions on an ankle is stupid....he had tht same bad ankle when he made the right decisions and they came from behind to win.
The kid needs a reality check and someone assigned to him 24/7 like Dez Bryant has with Dallas.
