Here's how bad I think we need QB's (plural), and how worthless I think every QB on our roster is, that I would actually do this:

https://fanspeak.com/ontheclock/draft.php?d=epkori

RD 1. Lamar Jackson, QB, Louisville
RD 2. Josh Allen, QB, Wyoming
RD 2. Mason Rudolph, QB, Oklahoma State
RD 3. Mark Andrews, TE, Oklahoma
RD 4. Chukwuma Okorafor, OT, W. Michigan

Would not even hesitate to take those 3 QB's with our first three picks, then totally clean house of the QB crap we have now.

People said the same thing about The Big Cat and Adams. and they fell to us.

Fell to us in the top ten picks, not fell to us in the second round. I agree with Flyboys, there is no way Vea is there in the second round, and the same is probably true for Price.

Lamar Jackson and Josh Allen have both failed to complete even 60% of their passes in a single season. I don't understand gambling on guys who have not yet shown that they can be accurate passers - it's pretty rare for a QB to substantially improve upon his completion % after moving from college to the pros.

Aaron Rodgers was at 66% in his last college year, and 65% in the pros, with a high of 68.1%.
Tom Brady was around 61% in college and 63.9% in the pros, with a high of 68.9% in 2007, which is a bit of an outlier.
Andrew Luck was around 71% in his last two college seasons, only 59.2 in the pros
Ben Roethlisberger was 65.5% for his college career, including 69% in his last season; 64% as a pro, with a high of 68% in 2015
Peyton Manning was 62.5% in college, 65.3% in the pros.

Baker Mayfield has been around 71% each of the past two seasons
Mason Rudolph has improved steadily from year to year, up to 65% this year

I would take Mayfield and Rudolph ahead of Jackson and Allen, any day.

If we draft Lamar Jackson, I’m done as a fan. He is not a qb. He is a run first QB with horrible accuracy. He’s also a huge project where his coaches tell him where to go with the ball whenebee a pass is called. He won’t make a difference this season.

So it's really luck, then. You grudgingly give credit to Mac for picking the right stopgaps, mainly to avoid giving Toilet any credit.

I don't even have to try to not give toilet credit. That sounds so stupid. Lol Toilet sucks as a HC. I could point to MANY things that demonstrate toilets inability to coach.

And give up on the"grudgingly giving credit" nonsense would you please? I gave you an objective take on Mac and toilet. I've been saying for a while now, keeping Mac I figured would be a good move. Keeping toilet is an idiot move. What's worse is 13 is right. Now, Mac and toilet are forever linked. If ANY part of this mandate, find a qb, build the ol, get the offense going, fail, jets fans will immediately turn on both of them. They will not be able to assign blame correctly. So if toilet is the same old terrible coach he's been, Mac will not be able to shake the blame that should rightly be given to toilet.

Baker Mayfield
Josh Rosen
Josh Allen

Rosen is the best QB amongst that group, but getting him will require trading multiple picks. It'll probably be too costly. That's why he's 2nd.

Mayfield makes the most sense and certainly has the resume to prove it.

Allen is also an option. P.S. Mac should take TWO QB's in this draft. How about Rudolph in the 3rd or 4th round?

The problem we have is: If Mac drafts a QB and Bowles does not like him, he will be sitting on the bench for at least 2 years (Hackenberg)
Just play the kid for 1 game, he may surprise you! Its not like we were fighting for a playoff spot!
