Maybe they just go with no QB. Franchise Breece and direct snap to him every play.Of course that would depend on the veteran and the fact is we need to also acquire both a starter and a back-up. I have a feeling that the Jets are going to vacate the QB room and start over.
We should ave done that this season. We would likely have won more games.Maybe they just go with no QB. Franchise Breece and direct snap to him every play.
That’s about as simple as the playbook they’ve used the past 15 years anyway

Another sad but true Jet factWe should ave done that this season. We would likely have won more games.![]()
Not with Glenn at the helmwould likely have won more games.![]()
Who said you can’t complain? Not with Glenn at the helm
Oh I forgot no more complaining
I didWho said you can’t complain?
what else can anyone do on this site?
I can understand your position but several have played this year and are still playing. Manning started slow but has improved immensely. Simpson and Moore may not come out until next season, if they do, it's to avoid falling in next years draft. I don't believe either is ready. Then there are guys like Sayin, Sellers, Iamaleava, Carr, Raiola, Mensah, Leavitt. Chiles, all who likely surpass Moore and Simpson next year. That's a much more talented class than Moore and Simpson who are our options this season, assuming Mendoza goes 1.I know that's the consensus but I just don't trust it. If they played this year there will be good tape for evaluation for this and next seasons draft. If they didn't play this season evaluating them will be difficult. If they played this year and don't get drafted or don't declare that tape will still be there with more added which then likely would improve their value. It's a very gray area for me. I don't feel comfortable accepting something that hasn't happened yet.
Ok, but fyi, I’m banning anyone who doesn’t complainI did
To myself
Remember it's not as if Mendoza is the guaranteed Messiah, like it would be if he went to New England. So basically, we need to keep Glenn and stink next year again so we don’t have to waste picks trading up
we should have just lost one more game this year. Freaking Jets
Yeah but you’re talking drafting and keeping this kid at one position.Mahomes is 6 2 225
Chambliss is 5 11 195 at best. Regardless of what Old Miss list him at.
There is zero similarities between the 2. No in size or ability.
Chambliss is Kyler Murray 2.0 at best.
He has been inconsistent for 5 years, can't ignore that and draft him off one game
Complain all you want big guy. Everyone is entitled to an opinion, especially old farts. Not with Glenn at the helm
Oh I forgot no more complaining
I'm safe.Ok, but fyi, I’m banning anyone who doesn’t complain
He certainly looked defeated after the last gameYeah but you’re talking drafting and keeping this kid at one position.
Im talking using his ENERGY in the game.
You can't teach what this kid has.
Even if the Kid doesn't make the team guys with his MAKE-UP are what Im talking about.
You want to change the culture?
You bring in guys that don't quit.
That's why I thought Saleh might be decent with his Rah Rah bullshit but he turned out be a false bitch.
That's why I dislike Glenn so much.
He has Quitters Eye.
He's a quitter plain and simple.
I see where you're coming from but it's all still just conjecture to me. I will say, if I haven't already somewhere here, that I am not high on Mendoza, Moore, or Simpson either. I think Mendoza probably is the best of the three but every time I watched him play I thought he was a little immature. Moore would be second but he shows sometimes his lack of experience. And finally Simpson would be third, and from my perspective, really not ready for the NFL. I would prefer not to force the pick either. I would be happy to see the Jets bring in a couple of vets on a reasonable one year or two year deal with an out the second year just in case and wait and see how the QB situation looks next year. Maybe one of the vets proves to be a keeper or a superstar emerges in next years draft. We are flush with picks for 2027 as well.I can understand your position but several have played this year and are still playing. Manning started slow but has improved immensely. Simpson and Moore may not come out until next season, if they do, it's to avoid falling in next years draft. There's likely 3-4 QBs who will have a legitimate claim to be the first pick next year and 7 -10 with legit first round grades.
I just don't want to force the pick, we have seen how that leads to failure repeatedly. If there's no FQB at 2, trade back or get a true game changer.
Heyespecially old farts
We earned it.I'm safe.
I operate at two speeds - bitch and moan.

Sorry..............but if I recall correctly you are the oldest member of this defunct group.

It's just amazing to which the level of suckage they sink.He certainly looked defeated after the last game
They all do. Everyone that comes here is astounded at the things that happen to this team. They are all lost and defeated by the end of the season
