When does Geno get pulled for Cade?
Or are we still adding some vet off his couch

I see them playing Geno for at least half the season and if he hasn’t won at least three of them, then make the switch. Then we can see what the kid can do from that point on. Gotta see what he’s got in live game action, so they know for a fact, whether or not they need to draft somebody or not.

Now we all know that Geno is decent enough to win you 7-8 games but not good enough to truly make you a contender. So we probably won’t be in the all out shitter with Geno but we won’t be a playoff contender either. I wouldn’t even think that they’ll be a middle of the pack team. I’d say 5-6 wins at most, and 7 if they’re truly lucky. Or unlucky, if you want to look at it that way!

So going from Seattle to the raiders, he had 20% of the wins he had on Seattle.

You’re misunderstanding what I’m saying. On a team like the Raiders and this year’s Jets, there’s no way in hell Geno can win eight or nine games because he’s not that good. He can’t carry a team, he needs to be carried and to do his small little part on a good team.

That’s not what we are providing him, nor did the Raiders last year. With Seattle those couple of years he actually was pretty decent and that’s what I’m talking about. With the Jets this year, they will win about 5-6 games at most. More like 4-5 in my honest opinion!

I can see it and even though it seems they’re looking to draft their QB next year, they also want to be competitive and win. So how can they pull off both at the same time?

As of now Klubnik has to beat out Zappe, a veteran with a number of NFL starts, to get the #2 spot. I can't believe Brady Cook will be a factor. Klubnik is only a fourth round pick and there isn't the same pressure to get him on the field as there will be with Mendoza or Simpson. Geno will be at least OK as long as the line holds up. Those rooting for a two win season still have to say who we are going to draft that will make that same roster playoff contenders.

Quarterbacks don’t come in and turn bad teams into great teams. If the team sucks, no qb can change that. But a good qb can make a good team better and a good team can make an ok qb better

its all about how good the team is and how good the system is and then they still have to be lucky enough to get on a roll

Mahomes is the most dynamic qb to ever play the game but in the 2 SB’s where his offensive line stunk and the other teams defense was crazy good, even he couldn’t work enough magic to win.

if we win 2-3 games and draft a qb at #1, he isn’t turning the team around unless the team is good enough to turn around . Every qb is better with time to throw. Simple concept

its why Matt Cassel could go 11-5 with bradys team having never played in an nfl game before
