I'm not going to be negative about this, particularly after reading what Parcells had to say about Glenn. I don't think we'll hear any stupid phrases like "all gas, no brakes", etc. but we'll get a guy who will command respect from the locker room. This team has some talent and if Woody stays out of the way, we will be ok. Next step is who he gets as assistants, and of course a GM that will be in lockstep with Glenn.

Also true but he is aware of what Woody brings to the table. All of these guys talk to each other a lot and know Woody well.

besides the normal worries on anything the jets do, I’m a little worried about the coaching staff that Glenn will put together seeing as he will have competition with Ben Johnson in poaching the Lions staff

Reports indicate that staff will include former San Francisco 49ersdefensive coordinator Steve Wilks, former Arizona Cardinalscoach Todd Haley, ex-Chicago Bears offensive coordinator/interim coach Thomas Brown, Detroit quarterbacks coach Mark Brunell and longtime special teams coach Mike Westhoff.
