I agree. I have put the Jets on the back burner. I had enough when Rodgers went down. I watch some games but most of the time I'm working around the House or whatever. I've found better things to do with my time.

Ofcourse we’ll feel that way, but there are other teams that have it worse than us. The Lions, Browns, Vikings and a few more. It’s not much to hang our hats on but it’s something. Imagine how the players are feeling, the players that truly care anyway! True enough, they come and go and don’t care the way we fans do but they are playing the game and most play to win. Not just for the money.

My biggest trap was actually being excited and having hope this year because of Rodgers. Last season I didn't think we were a playoff team, didn't expect it, just enjoyed the games and called it like I saw it.
This year, hella disappointment to start, but I'm back to reality now and just trying to enjoy the games.

Yup, it is all in how you frame it. I watch games all over the league without a care of who wins, so just watching players and plays. I can watch the Jets and root for Breece and Garrett to do well. Celebrate when Sauce, Quincy or Quinnen make nice plays. Get excited when Huff & Johnson make nice plays.
And simply ignore the damn score LOL. Oh and I can't forget to mention (lots oh lots of alcohol)

It’s gonna be hard to time this correctly seeing as with Zach starting, there arent a whole lot of snap’s happening, but Rodgers will be back once the Jets are safely passed what they think will be 65% of the snaps for the season
Sounds about right to me!
If he comes back this season he will snap it after the first sack and say goodbye to next season. Won't matter Zach isn't getting his team to the playoffs.

Jets are stuck in quicksand. If they bench Zach Rodgers will be pissed. If they bench Lazard he will be pissed. If they draft a QB next season he will be pissed. JD did a great job to put the Jets in some very good situations after Mac and now the Jets are in an awful spot because of JD. Tippmann might be the only OL worth keeping next year. AVT might not come back to his first year or two self. QB trying to rush back for no other reason than his own ego. Nobody will pull the plug on JD's awful #2 pick. Another awful time as a Jets fan.
Yup. This is a very bad place. Zach might not be good, but neither is the rest of the offense including and most notably everyone that was brought in to make Rodgers happy. Then, when anything good ever had a chance someone does something to erase it like GWs awful fumble, the subsequent failure of the defense to stop the drive after the fumble including 3 td on that drive because of redos on penalties
truth is also, the Jets haven’t had an offense since Parcells was here. When Rex was here they could sometimes score but there was never any confidence in that they could score ever
And this is why the Jets will always be "mired". In their own ineptitude and stupidity. Afraid to make a move because Rodgers might get sad and pout?
Sell the team's soul for a washed up QB the Packers were happy to dump? I could give a fuck what Rodgers thinks or wants. It's not his team or say. That's what JD/Saleh should have said. But unfortunately, they're clowns.
As much as I HATE to agree with you on anything, I can’t really argue most of these statements. It comes down to this for me and I will admit this is a BS theory but what else do we have at this point!
The Jets need to draft a QB in the 5th-7th round that they don’t even expect to turn out to be anything. They need to draft that diamond in the ruff type player. Maybe even a 21-23 year old undrafted rookie QB.
Someone who won’t piss Aaron off but can he truly learn from A-Rod and in a year or two after Aaron retires, the kid will be ready to take over and be our franchise guy! It seems to be the only way at this point!
