I mostly agree with you here. Rogers was one of the best, but, I also remember watching him in training camp when he was still healthy. He still looked great. He was making all the throws and I mean all the throws. I would like to see him healthy before I give up on him. BUT, you are correct that age increases injury probability and mostly makes recovery much more difficult. We knew at the onset that Rogers was going to need a reliable "O" line to flourish. He didn't really get that which is why he got hurt. I also agree that Tyrod would better deal with the inadequacies of this "O" line than Rogers, but, not for long. I'm not advocating that Rogers is the answer for this team. I think his time as an effective starter in this league is near it's end. I also think that if healthy he might survive another season and hopefully groom his replacement. I'm going to just watch and see what unfolds and hope that whatever Woody does turns out to be the right thing. It's all I can do. Jets games lately have been very painful to watch so I just head to the woods and check the final score when I get back to the house.
