No Becton broke the elevator again.Get ready for a massive let down guys……….
I don't think it can be spread out. Its already spread out into option years and would be in years 4 and 5 of their contracts. Right in time for extensions and 5th year options. Not to mention that the 2 option years are already fully guaranteed for injury so if he gets injured would be on the hook for an additional $114 million.The hit can be spread out over a couple years. Also, that big hit would come a little before Sauce, Hall, and GW would be up for renewals.
Good point, only one way to find out!!!You do realize that Baltimore tailored the offense to Jackson’s strengths. A super athletic QB, who seems late on reads and only throws to wide open receivers, but doesn’t anticipate throws.
Are you really certain that this guy is going to look like a world beater in the west coast offense? I have serious doubts of that.
OH, I definitely won’t deny that he is the better QB. He is a top 10 all-time QB IMHO! Hard for Lamar or any current QB to beat that and I will never deny or undercut his talent. His ability to be a better QB for us for 2-3 years is undeniable. If he’s truly motivated, he might be a better QB for 4-5 years for us.I'm cool with you being excited because there is a slight chance the Jets pivot to Lamar, but let's be honest Rodgers is the better QB. Lamar is the more exciting QB. I just think the Jets have done everything all off season to point towards Rodgers. I just wish LaFleur was OC so we could see Rodgers expose him.
I hope you win. Don’t think you will, but it’s sure worth throwing some money at if you did it at the right timeYes
I’m in
You didn't clarify. Could be two outcomes to arrive at that. Depends on the fan.Get ready for a massive let down guys……….
Check your bag of tricksThere are so many pros and cons for Rodgers....I need a Dramamine!

He hasn't come yet. But he's breathing hard.So did We get this guy yet or what?
The Jets shouldn't have drafted any QB that year. None are good outside of Trevor. Should have traded that pick to SF and taken someone like Parsons. IF we are as close as others, not me, think then Rodgers is perfect. I trust that JD will fleece GB or walk away. IMO, Rodgers is the only one that can take the Jets at least to AFCCG. Carr might have taken the Jets to playoffs. If you don't tailor a perfect offense for Lamar I don't think he will succeed anywhere and thats why teams have no interest in him which he is now finding out. Baltimore is willing to let him walk for the right price, but also letting Lamar see his market. Thats what makes them a smart organization.OH, I definitely won’t deny that he is the better QB. Let’s be honest, with his SO CALLED down year stats from last year, put that on this Jets team and they win 12-13 games easy. Problem is if he isn’t motivated, he’s gone in a year or two and if he hasn’t won us a Super Bowl by then we’re left with nothing. Plus if he isn’t motivated we’ll have to deal with his pre-Madonna BS. Which we’ll probably have to deal with that anyway.
I’ve also said that I wanted Lamar the most from day one because he’s significantly younger and he’s proven. No he’s not a better QB than A-Rod but he’ll be here longer and he’s already proven. Justin Fields was my 1A and I know he’s not proven but he did get better his second year and he’s even younger than Lamar. Plus might I add the Jets should have drafted Justin in the first place.
Aaron Rodgers was my second or third choice. Yes he’s the best QB (hands down) of any QB available this year and his talent hasn’t truly diminished at all. It’s just the other stuff with him I don’t want our team dealing with. Then comes Carr, Jimmy G and the others. So no doubt I realize Rodgers isn’t a bad choice for us.
Your dad deserves to see a winner. And yes you are fucked up, but not for wanting that for your dad.@butterscotch
@cheaterhater
Would you believe I contacted the Jets to see if I could get wheelchair seats for my dad if Aaron comes ?
I’m fucked up
And now I probably put the kabash on the deal
How can I put this! I do agree with some of what you’re saying here, especially about Aaron Rodgers but please don’t tell me you honestly believe Lamar Jackson wouldn’t help this team? Maybe not as much initially as A-Rod but in the long run how can he not? People (I guess this includes you) seems to think he’s strictly a scrambling QB and can’t really throw the ball.The Jets shouldn't have drafted any QB that year. None are good outside of Trevor.
