Thats probably usually true, but I think if Rodgers agrees to a trade I think he will want to make one more splash before he retires. Maybe we will get a Peyton Manning type affect.
The hit can be spread out over a couple years. Also, that big hit would come a little before Sauce, Hall, and GW would be up for renewals.
