I've thought the same thing, but I don't think they have the money. It's exhausting going after Rodgers and JD better have a plan B. Another 7-10 season and the Jets clean house again.
I wouldn't be surprised if he said he was going to take a space x rocket and spend some time in zero gravity to help him decide

Just read that the framework for the trade has NOT been worked out yet
Just read on this App (Chrome) in a sub-story the oposite of what has been written. It's been written recently both teams (GB and the Jets) have hammered everything out just waiting for Rodgers' ok to trade. More recently, been printed, both teams are in a frozen mode (my words paraphrased) that nothing has been completed until Rodgers makes up his mind or verbalizes it. Some felt the Jets should have made an offer to Carr, hopefully signed him and focus on other holes to fill. Jet history is we won't get Rodgers, we'll lose all the others of any worth and Butterscotch may as well start, cuz it ain't gonna be any better. Sorry, I am frustrated.
