To the best of my knowledge the Jets are the only team that has received permission to speak with Rogers about a trade. He's not a free agent. He's under contract and so any interested team must first get permission before contacting Rogers, I have not seen that happen yet so as far as I'm concerned the Jets are getting Rogers but we don't yet have an agreement on PRICE.

Over the decades--little by little--I came to realize that it just might not be in the cards for this team to win another Super Bowl. Intellectually (or as close to that ideal that I can attain), I understood that the Jets--like a few others--are a mush franchise which repels ownership intelligence, management aplomb, coaching acumen and, generally, player talent. Basically, I now anticipate my great great grandchildren finally pouring a bit of vintage Champagne on my urn many decades from now. Possibly.

Joe D in an interview with Boomer confidently stated, “he will be here.” This tells me that there is a deal already in place but they are holding for some particular reason. We might not see AR until after the draft when it makes more financial sense for the packers. Might be part of the deal.
