Over the decades--little by little--I came to realize that it just might not be in the cards for this team to win another Super Bowl. Intellectually (or as close to that ideal that I can attain), I understood that the Jets--like a few others--are a mush franchise which repels ownership intelligence, management aplomb, coaching acumen and, generally, player talent. I agree, mostly. He is letting JD run the team thankfully. That didn’t stop him however from making the comments that started the conversation.
