I was reading 'NY Jets reportedly targeting these 8 head coach candidates' on The Jet Press for iOS and I thought you might be interested in reading it too.

interesting firing. Thinking that they may try to pair the young QB with a an offensive minded coach like Smith or Bienimy (sp?).
Brian Daboll is being linked to the bolts

Chris Johnson says “we are going to get this HC hiring right”. Are you kidding me..... you and your idiot brother have not got anything right since you bought the team. “We are taking into consideration about changing the organizational structure “..... meaning, yeah.... that’s probably not going to happen. With these losers, nothing is going to change .

The Lynn firing creates some tough competition for us in the coaching search.
With Herbert, Henry, Allen and some very good players on D, Chargers are the top desirable spot among all coaching vacancies, IMO.

I generally like all the names we've seen. My favorites at this point are:
  • Daboll: What he has done with Josh A. is exactly what the Jets need someone to do for Sam Darnold or any QB they draft; I prefer that it be Darnold, and let them get a king's ransom for the #2 pick to accelerate the roster-build.
  • Saleh: He is fiery, his players love him, and he seems like a real leader. What he did with the 49ers injury-decimated defense this year was remarkable
  • Campbell: A proven program builder and winner, which is what the Jets need. To get Iowa State to where he has gotten them in relatively short order is astonishing (I'm a huge Oklahoma Sooners fan so I follow the Big 12 closely). Possibly my first choice - but he'd need to be willing to have NFL-experienced coaches on his staff.
I trust Joe D. to make the right choice here, and there are some really appealing candidates this go-round.

And a lot of stiff competition for them.
