I'm not scared of Matt Cassell or EJ Manual. The Bills are a decent team, but they're not going anywhere with these QB's.
LOL, Rex is making the same mistakes in Buffalo as he did here. The guy didn't learn a thing in his first go-around, apparently.
For some reason he thinks he can rehabilitate and resurrect every malcontent, problem child, over the hill, overpaid, and underachieving bum from the street.
He brought the Jets such amazing players as Plax Burress, Santonio Holmes, Mike Vick, Chris Johnson, Braylon Edwards, Tim Tebow, and the list goes on and on. Too often he casted away the blue collar guys (Leon Washington, Cotchery, Brad Smith, etc), guys who were the meat of the team, to bring these circus performers in. The recipe proved to be a giant bust.
So his first 3 moves with the Bills has been: sign Richie freakin' Incognito, trade blue collar LB, Kiko Alonso, away to aquire malcontent Shady McCoy, and now sign has-been Matt Cassell. Geesh.
Congrats, Buffalo. Rex is all yours now!
Cowherd is praising Chip Kelley about this move. And I agree with him. No way I trade a young, tough SOB like Alonso away, with so much potential, for a 7th year RB. RB's go downhill fast, and "Shady" isn't that far off from retirement.
I agree I think the Eagles made out on that trade. The Eagles fans were going crazy over the deal but they received a LB who will be around for a long time and the same can’t be said about the RB. Also Bills will have less to spend now in FA and its reported that McCoy wasnot happy with the trade to Buffalo.
“According to Alex Marvez of FOX Sports, the Bills have up their first fifth-round pick in 2015 as well as their seventh-round pick in exchange for Cassel and a sixth-round pick.”
On to Matt Cassell I don’t think he was brought in to start. If so then REX is an idiot. There were rumors last night that the Bills had a trade in place for a QB and my first thought was Sam Bradford boy was I wrong.
LOL! Yup, they can have him and PLEASE NEVER RETURN HIM!!!LOL, Rex is making the same mistakes in Buffalo as he did here. The guy didn't learn a thing in his first go-around, apparently.

The amazing thing to me is how Rex gets GM's to sign off on these personnel moves.
If I were a sales manager, no matter what I was selling, Rex would be the first round pick to be on my team. The way he charms these GM's and gets them on board with absurdly illogical player decisions is a modern day miracle. He's like a snake charmer that just hypnotizes these guys into suspending all common sense and objective reasoning.
Not kidding here but Rex could be the GOAT of salesmanship.
