i've grown tired of his stoic/useless presence on the sidelines..

a former NFL defensive back, that watches the other teams best offensive receivers destroy what passes for "game plans" on a weekly basis..

great/good/JAGs receivers running uncovered downfield on a weekly basis..

gets his ass lit up on bubble screens on a weekly basis..

at 1-3, as big of a fitpatrick fan as i am, it might be time to give petty a chance to at least try to spark this listless team..

LOLz of yeah, what the hell am i talking about?? petty's still hurt, because in bowles' infinite wisdom, he watched him continue to needlessly get plucked up week four of the preseason..

at least i believe petty's still hurt.. who knows though?? unless the beat writers press bowles, most weeks he does'nt list petty on the injury report anyway.....

Lackluster play, ZERO defense for any sort of TE the opponent may have, Bad clock management, defensive breakdowns in coverage that result in touchdowns, insistence on the secondary playing zone.............Does this about cover how atrocious a job Bowles is doing right now??

I figured this team would go approximately 6-10 or 5-11 this season. They seem to be right on schedule. This team will not win another game until they play the Browns............

Petty and all young players need lots of reps. He doesn't get them during the season, so Bowles and all teams count on pre season to get young guy live action looks. Playing your 3rd string qb in the pre season is not an obvious blunder.

We all knew this was a brutal schedule before the season, and many were calling a .500 start great for us. Both the steelers and cardinals are beatable, but only if we get healthy guys on the field and execute. The end of the year is cake wroth the dolphins browns and rams.

I can understand deactivating ASJ today, he's only been here a few days, though I would point out CJ Spiller was only with Seattle a few days too and he scored the first TD today, so its not impossible to install a package of plays for someone on a short week.

That said, I'll give Bowles a pass because ASJ just got here, but if he is not STARTING at TE next week, I'm really going to question if Bowles is just in over his head as a coach. I mean, today we learned that we have yet another TE on the roster, Bowman, who can't catch. How many f*king TE's do I have to watch who can't catch? Meanwhile the other teams TE was tearing us a new ass all day, as if to remind us what kind of damage a real NFL TE can cause with the mismatches he can exploit.

So I swear, if the 6' 6" ASJ is not out there catching passes for the Jets next week, if we continue to trot out Kellen Jenkins, Bostick and Bowman, the three stooges, and we don't get a genuine talent like ASJ on the field as a starter, I'm really going to wonder what the hell Todd Bowles is watching and if he is just out of his depth as a HC.

We can all have our opinions, but we don't know more than 1% of what happened in the competition. We can say it was gift wrapped, but how could we know? Petty hasn't seen a snap in 5 weeks, how do you expect him to jump geno in the depth chart and take the starting job? If Fitz does get benched,it would be for Geno.

I too think TB is in over his head. He has a great bunch of defensive talent but they are not playing that way. He seems to go out of his way to believe in Fitz and Geno ??

I think the problems with this team run much deeper than whether or not Todd Bowles utilizes a newly acquired TE. We knew going into this season that TE was an issue, so not using him today has really nothing to do with the thread.

Todd Bowles seems to be just another guy in a long list that cannot get this team to play how they are capable of playing. He coaches scared and plays not to lose. That's a very bad combination............

I agree about the TE position. That was ahuge drop by Bowman today. It would have given us a first down at midfield with score at the time being 14-10 Seattle. I am getting sick of the incompetence of the TE position.
