Your comment was about "costly drops" was the basis for my comment. ALL WR drop passes look at the cards game yesterday except for Fitz there were so many drops they pulled palmer...
The Cards never showed up yesterday but Palmer was being pulled anyway. They need to save him......but that was some poor display I have never seen pink Floyd that bad in a FQ.....so yes we all have bad days.
You know like Wesley Walker in the 81 playoffs against Buffalo & My all time TE Fav Jackie Smith** in the SB It is when you drop them that hurts not just the drops. Were they still good & great yes but that knocks them down a notch or two.
Maynard dropped balls even Fitz drops one a year. they all do some more than others.
At least Jackie had an excuse** LOL
Even Babe Ruth made a mistake in the 1926 WS when Bob O Farrell threw him out stealing second base with Pete Alexander on the mound. Rogers Hornsby made the tag game over. He was out by a mile!

To be honest, I do not see any fault in Brandon Marshall's game. Yes he had some drops but everyone does. The positives outweigh the negatives by a large margin.

Marshall is a pure monster, a beast and force to be reckoned with. Yes he did drop some balls but the best of them do and he caught 109 of them. Some where in that range for 1,400 yards and 13 TDs or so. What more can you asks for? Marshall has never been a speed WR, he is all about catch radius, size and power. He has made the best of that for over 10 years with 4 different teams. Made average OB like Fitz into pro-bowlers or damn near pro-bowlers. A true leader and HOF inductee to be. He is ever bit as good and better IMO as Maynard, Wayne, Walker or Sauer. I hope he has 4-5 more years left in him of what he gave us this year because if he does, man this team has SB written all over it. Its probably more like 2-3 years left in him of this production and hopefully we can get the Lombardi trophy within that time. I see not faults in Marshall's game really, not enough to complain about. His pros out way his cons ten fold and I really don't understand how you can come up with your negatives on him but you have to right your opinion. I'm just hoping we get another young WR (hopefully rookie) built just like Marshall that can learn from him and take over the reigns when he is done with the game.

Exactly TWICE I have seen a Jets WR take it to the house off a screen or quick hit short pass. Coles did it in OAK 2001, and BDrago did it this year. What a feeling, what a sight!
I don't understand I agree with you he is a 90 not a 99 That is still an A! Just as you said tenfold. All I say is he is one of the leaders in dropped balls & flags....he has some holes in his game. I want him on the team He is a big plus. He just needs to work harder at getting better. I bet we see those bad numbers drop next year under TB.

There was no threat to opposing defenses so Marshall & Decker’s play to me was better than the stats they showed......This is what made them so special this year. Plus…. throw in a Route 66 Qb. So maybe I see them as better than some others on here.......Geeeezzz.

I loved Joe klecko He should be in the Hall but he had a habit of jumping offside more than he should have…..Does that say I think he stunk. No he was a great player!

Funny analogy or comparison there my friend. No NFL player is perfect. Whether they are a practice squad player to a average player to a pro-bowler to a HOFer. So Brandon has his flaws like everyone else does or did but he is the best WR the Jets have EVER had IMHO. Now I know most and probably you will say Maynard or Toon or Walker but none of them brought as much to the table as Marshall does. Well maybe Toon if his career wasn't cut short so damn soon. Anyway, I hopefully Marshall will be around a few more years to give us the goods and that is a great point to put out that what Marsh and Deck did without any help was a even bigger accomplishment. Never thought of it like that.

No other WR threats?
I may have missed it but I seem to remember #10 and #81 making huge clutch late game catches for big gains that significantly helped the Jets to a victory in at least 3 of their 10 wins during the season

What I mean and I believe what he means is yes Thompkins and Enunwa caught a few passes. A few that were clutch in fact to help the team win a game or two but the passing game was all about Marshall and Decker. Thompkins ans Enunwa were no true threats to any team. Now when Piwell got healthy he was a threat but that wasn't until like game 7-8, maybe later. Fitz focused on Marshall and Decker because he knew that was all he really had. When Powell was healthy and ready he was a huge help and threat but Thompkins and Enunwa really weren't. I believe Enunwa will be a huge threat and help next year and maybe even Thompkins.

No way to deny that moving from Decker, Kerley, Salas, Nelson and Cumbersome. and Geno to Decker, Marshall, Q, Thompkins, Powell and Fitzpatrick isn't a massive offensive talent upgrade
HEEE AAAHHG Someone gets it LOL Thanks....but I disagree on Maynard he changed the game of football. For the Super Bowl when he was hurt. He moved much further outside almost to the laughing point to take half of the Colts team with him. What a decoy!
But Marshall in this day & age is a good player......As far as faults they all have them except for Pat Tillman....God bless him!
