Couldn't Mariota now conceivably drop to 20? St Louis doesn't need him with Foles in the mix. Chicago has been building Cutler back up and need lots of help on defense. Who else is going to burn a 1st on this kid who is far from ready to play in the NFL? Houston just signed two QB's to compete for starting. Cleveland can't conceivably take on another rookie in the 1st, can they?
And I don't understand why everyone assumes if Philly would trade up to #6 that Bradford would be in the mix. The Jets could simply refuse. I don't think they want any part of him in Gailey's offense.
In any case, I think the need to trade up has evaporated and the bargaining chip of Foles is out of play. Say hello to Geno.

Agree. What if the Jets told the Eagles we preferred Bradford over Foles or Sanchez, so Chip made this deal to get Mariota and the Jets end up with Bradford & picks ? Something is up with Chip, Bradford is not mobile enough for his style offense.

Yeah, someone with money who isn't spending on OG's and DB's like the Jets are. Say, Tennessee. But that's an odd fit. They really like Mettenberger and why stagnate him with a brittle, barely upright Bradford who costs a fortune?
The only thing that makes sense to me is that Chip Kelly and Philly is insane.
NFL.com just reported that if Bradford doesn't play at least 8 games then the Eagles get a 4th rd pick and if Bradford gets injured its a 3rd rd pick. So it appears the Eagles are sticking with Bradford unless they plan on transferring that deal some kind of way to another team. How they would even do that I don't know.
Good, I don't want Bradford anyway. I'd rather have Mariota and Geno fight it out with a vet FA QB. If not Mariota then Geno, a vet QB FA and a rookie they draft in the later rounds.
You may have a point. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to Chip's recent moves. Like others have said: He's either a genius or a nutcase. Time will tell.

My guess is the Jets would be most willing to pull the trigger of that group. The Redskins would be their realistic target. But why? They just traded for a young QB. I think this trade-up scenario is dead.

They would be not allowing someone else to jump in front of them.
That was my thinking. I don't believe Chip Kelly is done with Mariota yet. So, if the Rams want him, they may come calling.

Would think it's Tenn. They are the only team that guarantees Mariota. Been saying it all along, a trade with the Jets for Mariota makes no sense. The Jets are QB desperate, if Macc likes Mariota, he's going to take him.
