what drives me nuts is the HC does not report to the GM & clearly both have different agendas.. that, & the owner's brother apparently has zero interest in giving the fan base any idea on what his thinking is on overseeing the organization..

I have made that same point about the organizational structure in many different posts. Bowles was hired first and THEN Mac was hired and asked "Are you ok with whom we already have hired?" A recipe for disaster right from the start. Woody is the common denominator in all of the disasters since he bought the team, including the fact that Belichik decided to resign.

the theatre of the absurd.. & it's compounded twofold:

the ryan/idzik debacle made getting the HC/GM an absolute must.. LOLz so much for that..

then johnson hires casserly & wolfe as consultants & he still figures out how to shit the bed..

Hackenburg has more in common with Raiders JaMarcus Russell ! Big, strong arm and couldnt pass within 15 ft of WR's-TE's and panicked under pressure. Farve comparison is just to silly.

If somebody compared him to Favre then somebody should slit their throat.

Hack may pan out to be a good QB, but that isn't going to happen this season and probably won't happen next season either. He is raw and very inaccurate!!! I don't know why he was thrusted to the front of the line all training camp because he hasn't shown anything to deserve that.

Play Petty and see if he is a starter or if we cut him and move on!! Too much wasting time with journeymen retreads! We aren't winning anything this season so evaluate what you have to you can formulate a plan for success moving forward.

It is a comparison of the rawness of both players early. NOT the complete body of work. When Favre played for the Falcons, did ANYONE expect what was to come? Thats my whole point of this thread.
