we agree revis needs to play well against green.. i believe giving him help over the top makes sense.. at least until he proves he can cover all world WR's again by himself..

That film does not make any mention of how to contain Green, just that they must contain him...
I agree that you have to use Revis creatively. Create doubt and Dalton hears footsteps.

I'm not sure what to expect week one but my gut feeling: We win!.....and I really hope no Jet decides to sit during the Anthem....that player will be forever stained in my eyes.
Me too, I think Brandon Marshall is down a notch in my eyes. I think the key to the game is the second half. Do we we want it or not being 9/11 in our house. I'm not sure as Bengals have an excellent team. We'll see.

I'm not so sure about a 35-14 score, but I am fairly confident that the Bengals will win this game rather easily. All they need to do is play their game which shouldn't be hard.
I do know for sure that AJ Green will be taken off his game today. More than likely he will be very limited, I figure maybe about 50 yards receiving??
So Dalton will have to make adjustments for that. If I were the Bengals, I would almost immediately test the Jets ability to defend the wheel route. I would also try running plays toward the edges of the defense. To run right into the very middle of the DL will be an exercise in futility. But there's a good possibility that the Bengals OL could prevent the defense from sealing the edge. Use play action from there going after the 2nd, 3rd, and so on options on the field for Dalton to gain some confidence.
I figure the Bengals offense will get a lot of opportunities with short fields to score. The Jets offense will probably turn the ball over about 3 times today.

The Jets D will give Dalton fits. I can see Pryor getting a few penalties to send a message. If this game was away I might agree with you but 9/11 at home will gives us a definite home field advantage. The Jets players will have an adrenaline advantage from the getgo.
My stomach is in knots! It's like I'm watching one of my kids playing in a big game!
