getting absolutely fried all day with the freakin' bubble screen was inexcusable..
letting revis get exposed as a shell of himself was inexcusable..
if it's too early to question if bowles knows what the eff he's doing, eff it, i'm officially guilty as charged..

Agreed. Total team failure, and it all feeds up to that HC.
The Bengals don't look that good. They certainly didn't today. Yet as bad as they were, they absolutely dominated the Jets today. They could throw bubble screen all day. Picking off Fitz. Shutting down the Jets, and throwing it at will on this secondary. It was pretty brutal.
Okay now I know you're just being sarcastic. At first I didn't see it, but this post gave it away. You're just trying to out-negative the doomsayers :1:
But seriously, you can't be throwing games away in this league, wins are too hard to come by, and we threw this one away.
I don't see any way this team would have won that game. It wasn't just Bowles and Folk. It was everyone.
Others can irrationally fly off the handle. I wanted to see what it felt like.
All I'm going to say is this, I know the loss today wasn't on Fitz per say. The defense got torched today. Well Revis rather got torched today. So I know this loss isnt Fitz but he didn't light it up either. So if the Jets would have drafted Dak Prescott instead of Hackenberg who is on the bench learning. We could have atleast lost with a true franchise young QB in the making. Instead of a old journeyman six team hack who will get us no where fast. Most if not all of you wont agree with me and that's fine but facts are facts and you can't deny that!

The people who are saying this team sucks are wrong, we both know that, this is a very good team, not perfect, but very good. But the people who are saying they sucked TODAY, I would concur because the way I see it, we gave that game away. How many times did we let great drives stall in the red-zone and settle for 3, including that second to last possession. You gotta finish these drives!!! This is not 1976, you don't win games in this league anymore by kicking FG's. You gotta finish these drives!!! Aside from the obvious issues like Folk's misses, too me thats the difference in the game, too many times we settled for FG's and that kept the Bengals in a position to win it. Finish those drives, at least the one at the end, and we win this game.
I dont know. Im ususlly optimistic when it comes to the jets but i just dont think the team is nearly as good as we thought they were. I dont think the Bengals are very good either, but they dominated in many facets of the game. We were right there til the end, and thats how i think it will be all year, but just not good enough to get the job done.
